New version of WinI2C/DDC component with many changes is available now. Below are main changes made in this version:

• Intel video chipsets native supporting (direct PCI communication with the video chipset).
• Added native support for nVidia and ATI video chipsets.
• Added advanced method that select the best way for accessing I2C bus: direct PCI communication with the video chipset, Windows I2C supporting or video driver I2C supporting.
• Windows Vista supporting.
• Improved compatibility with many types video chipsets.
• Changes in API functions format, now API functions don't use names decoration
• Added detailed error codes for all API functions.
• Added additional capabilities for debugging the driver and the library.
• Added new API functions for low-level access to DDC bus.
• Added many new API functions for more easy working with monitor's settings, such as get/set monitor's brighness, contrast, display area position, size, color settings, etc.
• Added advanced sample application with complete source code for advanced demonstration of WinI2C/DDC capabilities.
• Many minor changes and fixes are made.
